fast! PlayStation Plus is up to $30 off – this sale includes all three levels

Sony’s annual Game Days 2023 sales are back, and they include deep discounts on loads of the best PS5 games as well as the first discount of the year on a PlayStation Plus subscription.

Until June 12th, you can get 12 months of PlayStation Plus Essential for $45 at the PlayStation Store. Alternatively, if you’d prefer a subscription to one of the higher tiers, 12 months of PlayStation Plus Extra is now just $75 (was $100) and 12 months of PlayStation Plus Premium is down to $90 (It was $120). These deals are available to new, existing and previous subscribers to the PlayStation Online Membership Service.

If you’re not quite sure which PlayStation tier is right for you, we’ve got you covered Basic vs. Extra vs. Premium Guide. In short, the basic level is the basic level that gives you access to online play, cloud storage, and a periodic selection of monthly games. Extra gives you all of that along with access to a larger library of PS5 and PS4 games. Finally, Premium includes all of the above and throws in a selection of classic games from PS1, PS2, PS3 and PSP. Extra is probably the best value for money, but if you just want to play online multiplayer games, choose Essential.

Since this deal is available to existing PlayStation Plus members, you can use it to extend your existing membership. Even if you have a few months left before needing to renew your subscription, it’s worth getting another year now at that discounted price rather than waiting until a later date and having to pay full price.

Also, if you have an ongoing membership in a particular tier, Sony also offers you the chance to upgrade to another tier at a discount. This is especially great if you’ve got a Basic membership but want to try Extra or Premium. Just be sure to turn off auto-renewal, otherwise you’ll be automatically charged for the level-up when your current PlayStation Plus subscription ends.
