Houston, Texas (KTRK) – Operations at Busch Intercontinental Airport were not affected despite responding to a report of someone trespassing on the tarmac on Tuesday night.
The Houston Airports System said a person was on runway 15L – one of the five that serve the airport – causing the airport’s runway to be closed for about 15 minutes.

The apparent trespasser was arrested around 8:40 p.m
It was not immediately known how this person managed to get onto the runway or who he was.
Tuesday’s incident came nearly two months after an unrelated break-in by a suspect in a police pursuit. In that incident, investigators said a man used a box truck to smash through the gates of the IAH.
It wasn’t until an airport employee on a baggage cart helped stop a suspect from crashing a plane. Court documents identified the suspect in the April ordeal as Carl Hollis.
