Houston, Texas (KTRK) – Authorities said an investigation was under way after a body was found in northeastern Harris County on Wednesday afternoon.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said they received a call at 2:53 p.m. and deputies were dispatched to the 5800 block of Brunswick Avenue, where they reportedly found the body of a woman.
Although details are limited, investigators said they suspect he was involved in a crime. It is unclear how long the woman’s body had been there before it was discovered.
ABC13’s Neighborhood Safety Tracker data shows three homicides reported in the past 12 months in the area, including Edgeworth, Northwood Manor and Scenic Woods, home to an estimated 19,000 people.
