Her cousin Danny Smith, who grew up with her at Graceland, was involved in a Modern video On his YouTube channel Memphis Mafia Kid, as a child she tried to contact her father’s spirit. He said, “Lisa Marie, after Elvis died, I had a prep session to try and contact her dad. Fact!”
Later in life, she had one during a birthday party aboard the retired Queen Mary cruise ship in the port of Long Beach, California. The session took place in the empty pool in the ship’s cellar.
He told Pete Yorn, who was present Rolling Stone: “It was scary. Everyone said it was haunted. My boyfriend was in the room next to us, and he swore that in the middle of the night, his music system turned on out of nowhere. It was a great memory, but I didn’t sleep a wink.” On another occasion, she was allegedly able to “connect” with her ex-husband, Michael Jackson.
A year after Jackson’s death, esthetician Karen Fay said she and Lisa Marie contacted the thriller singer’s “troubled” spirit through a medium.
“It seemed like he was on a mission to reach out to the people in his life and to forgive them,” the former makeup artist told MJ at the time. “Michael took his time explaining his wrongs and wants us to forgive him. He looked unsettled.”
“He seemed a lot more fun with Lisa. The psychic turned to me and said Michael says to me, ‘You’ve taken such good care of me, and I’m so sorry I hurt you so much.'” He said he should have listened to me more. It hit me right in the heart.”
