Demon Slayer live show is coming to North America

Demon Slayer Season 3 prepares to end as Swordsmith Village Arc sees Tanjirou alongside Love and Mist Hashira battle some of Demon Lord Muzan’s most powerful minions. While the fourth season of the wild hit has already been confirmed, the release date remains a mystery to shonen fans following the story of Demon Slayer Corps. Fortunately, Fathom Events is teaming up with the animation studio on a special live event that’s making its way to theaters in the West.

The upcoming event, titled “Kimitsu Festival”, will see several stars of the animated film adaptation appear on stage to bring their roles to life once again. Among the voice actors present are Natsuki Hanai (Tanjiro), Akari Kito (Nezuku), Hiro Shimono (Zenitsu), Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Inosuke), Katsuyuki Konishi (Tenjin the Sound Hashira), and Satoshi Hino (Rengoku the Flame Hashira). The live show will cover both the Mugen Train District and entertainment arcs, so those looking to relive Season 2’s biggest battles will be in for a treat.

The event will be held by Fathom Events for one night only on July 18, as the cast responsible for the series are introduced to animators from Ufotable. Demon Slayer On Stage will also feature actors dressed as a perfect fit for their characters. If you’d like to check out snippets from the upcoming performance, you can watch the trailer below.

Here’s how Fathom Events describes the Demon Slayer event coming to theaters in North America, “Kimetsu Festival is a special stage program that celebrates the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime. The stage program is a live-action and features the cast members who bring the series “from the world to life They perform an exclusive live reading of an original story and a special live dubbing performance.

The Demon Slayer season 3 finale will be an installment with a longer running time than the installments that came before in this final season. While one of the first order demons has been wiped out thanks to Mist Hashira, Hantengu, the stronger of the two, is still a serious threat. Thanks to the injuries Mist Hashira received from Gyokko, it’s unclear if all hands will be on deck for Upper Moon 4’s season finale showdown.
