Mortal Kombat 1 has brutal punishment for rage coordinators

Mortal Kombat 1 Players reviewing the game during this weekend’s stress test know a lot to expect, but they’re finding small changes and new features here and there, too. One such feature is the return of “Quitality”, the animation that is triggered at any time Mortal Kombat 1 Quit the players’ anger before the match ends and all rounds are over. As it turns out, if you don’t watch the match and leave before it’s over, your opponent will watch your character grab their neck with the word “Quitality” splashed across the screen to show insult to injury.

The clip below is from fighting game commentator and former EVO finalist Ryan Neal (PNDKetchup on Twitter) shows what this Quitality looks like in action. It seemed like Neil’s opponent, Kenshi’s player, was having a hard time against Fire God Liu Kang and left the match early after a one-sided round. Once the player is out of the match, Kenshi stands up and snaps his neck to complete the match.

Many other Mortal Kombat fans are involved Mortal Kombat 1 Quitality clips, too, to show off its victories, but the animation seems to be pretty much the same regardless of which characters are used. There was only one atypical power up that we discovered as a Sub-Zero player being blown to bits by the Kameo Fighter Sonya Blade, though it’s unclear if this is a unique feature that the player will only see occasionally or if It was just a neat example of things lined up perfectly.

For those who haven’t seen this before, this isn’t the first time that Quitality has been in a Mortal Kombat fighting game. These have been added for the first time again Mortal Kombat X With the vitality in there that Maverick’s head would explode. They came back in Mortal Kombat 11although they seemed less punished there, for the most part, since Mortal Kombat 11 The vitality consists of a spike that impales the player. There was a chance that players would explode Mortal Kombat 11However, maybe the above clip of popping Sub-Zero is more popular than initially anticipated?

The stress test for the new Mortal Kombat game will run from now until Monday, so you still have time to catch up on some matches and hopefully see Mortal Kombat 1 A bio or two if you haven’t already. The stress test is available on Xbox Series X and PS5 but not on PC nor Nintendo Switch, so you’ll have to wait for another test or the final beta to get into the fighting game if you don’t have the right platform right now.

Players also picked up other interesting tidbits from Mortal Kombat 1 A stress test including some dialogue that might reveal who the main villain is. Hint: It doesn’t look like it’s going to be Shang Tsung, for once.
