Tom Hardy’s bizarre on-set demand left famous photographer ‘hiding behind a tree’ | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV

Tom Hardy allegedly takes no prisoners when it comes to being on a film set with him.

The actor’s rather odd on-set non-negotiables have been exposed by Danny Lyon, the very photographer who inspired Tom’s latest film, Bikeriders.

Despite his photography portfolio of the same name inspiring the film and even earning him an invite to the set, Danny, 82, has alleged he was told not to look at the actor, 46, during a visit to Cincinnati where the thriller was being shot.

The bombshell was dropped in the photographer’s new memoir, This Is My Life I’m Talking About, when he recalled travelling to meet the Hollywood star.

However, he revealed he never actually met Tom after being warned not to look at him at all and being ordered to watch the scenes unfold from behind a tree.

According to other reports, this wouldnt be the first time Tom has left a long-lasting impression on his guests and co-stars and it turns out he’s been like it since he first stepped foot onto a film set.

Patrick Stewart spoke about Tom’s stand-offish manner on set when they worked together on Star Trek: Nemesis at the start of his career.

The 83-year-old actor noted he didn’t believe Tom’s career would take off because of his alleged aloof nature.

Also opening up about his experience in his memoir, Patrick claimed Tom was more interested in spending his downtime with his girlfriend instead of building connections with the experienced group of actors in the cast.

He wrote: “Tom wouldn’t engage with any of us on a social level. Never said, ‘Good morning,’ never said, ‘Goodnight,’ and spent the hours he wasn’t needed on set in his trailer with his girlfriend.”
