HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A woman is in serious condition after being stabbed by two children at the 17200 block of April Vallet Court on Saturday afternoon, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

In a social post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said authorities received a report of the stabbing at 2:35 p.m.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the woman, possibly in her fifties, was stabbed by an 8 and 12-year-old who reportedly fled the scene.
The woman was transported to the hospital where she remains in serious condition.
