Regardless of the fact that Jurassic World Dominion It had the character of being the end of the franchise, and no one involved ever said that was the end of it all. Although the film was the third in the reboot trilogy and brought back the original cast of the first film, it wasn’t technically the real conclusion. Talk of where things might go next has surfaced from time to time (could the series make it to TV? Will it be a movie then?), but speaking in an interview with ComicBook.com franchise director Colin Trevorrow offered a confusion of what it is. Thought the chain need then.
“You know, the interesting thing is that whoever he was would still be someone who grew up in Jurassic Park,” Trevorrow said. “We’ve been talking about this like I’m 45, if you’re 35-40, Jurassic Park was your movie and that was it. I was just a little bit older. So, I think the next director is going to be a lot more tightly in their hands. .honestly, the way I am is like Star Wars or Raiders or Back to the Future, so my advice to them will be in your hands, but not too narrow.”
From its voices, Trevorrow appears to have been done with the Jurassic franchise, but after bringing the original cast back and giving the series a world where dinosaurs and man are forced to coexist, it’s a dramatic shift in storytelling choices. Speaking in a previous interview, franchise producer Frank Marshall offered a tease of continuing the series into the past Dominion.
When asked before /Movie On whether there will be more feature films, Marshall confirmed, “Yeah, sure… I think so DominionWe’ll wrap up this trilogy, but we’re not resting on our laurels. We’ll sit down, and we’ll see what the future is. We have that wonderful series, Cretaceous camp on Netflix. We obviously want to make good, high-quality films with great storytelling and great writers and directors, but we certainly look forward to doing more in Jurassic Globalism.”
One potential person who could fit the bill to take over the series, and who Trevorrow himself lobbied for the job, is Jurassic World star Bryce Dallas Howard. Howard said when he was told that Trevorrow had made this claim diverse: “Oh my God, Colin said that out loud? That’s so naughty.”
