After finishing second at both Miss Houston and Miss Kemah 2021, R’Bonney was determined to get better.
She told outlets, “I had to make sure I was strong in every category. I’ve worked hard every day for the past eight months. I wanted to outshine the competition and feel confident.”
She won the title of Miss USA 2022, with Morgan Romano of North Carolina in second and Natalie Piper of Nebraska in third.
