Steve Austin found the perfect way to celebrate Independence Day

“Stone Cold” Steve Austin found the perfect way to celebrate Independence Day on Monday afternoon, posting some fan art of George Washington nailing King George III with his Stone Cold Stones. Austin captioned the photo, “Hope your 4th of July is amazing!! #america #freedom.” The WWE Hall of Famer returned to action at WrestleMania 38 in April, accepting to challenge Kevin Owens to an impromptu No Holds Barred match and win in about 10 minutes. He appeared the next night to give the theory to Austin, Vince McMahon, and Pat McAfee Stoners.

“I got a little cold that day but I came home in Nevada. Shot, [Saturday]I was 100 percent and of course I went back to work on Sunday and did some extra physical activity as part of the show but, you know, it’s just such an exciting time for me to get back to work that I really love and you know, I never thought I’d be back in the ring ‘But, there we were frontrunners, the main event of – I topped WrestleMania on the first night and it was a real honor to be there and really excited to be there – just like the last few times I’ve been able to drink a beer, Broken Skull IPA in the ring,'” Austin told Brewbound Podcast after the event.” A couple of years ago we got a lot of exposure from that and just a real proud moment because when El Segundo and I decided to go out with a swan which everyone wanted, it’s really satisfying because I’ve drunk everyone’s beer in the past. I’ve been a beer drinker my whole life and don’t speak the language of technical beer but we gave all those other brands a little rub with their beer. So, getting out there and drinking our own beer was very satisfying.”

He also left the door open for work WrestleMania 39saying, “Okay [laughs]for me to go to WrestleMania 38, if you’re going to tell me, “Hey man, you’re going to be a part of WrestleMania 38. Not only that, you’re gonna work the main event night on the first night,” I said you got goosebumps and you’re crazy and there I was in Dallas, Texas, and I topped The main event is on day one so never say “never” but I really imagine that within the scope of this show I’m going to be a big show in a big city and it’s going to be a two-night event again, so I’m not sure I’m done wrestling per se, but As part of WWE, I can’t imagine I wouldn’t be there in some capacity and wouldn’t book myself into the show because I didn’t book myself at 38. That’s Vince [McMahon] The thing and I have a great relationship with him and if I get the call, I’ll be there.”
