Jon Moxley became the first three-time AEW World Champion

Jon Moxley became the first three-time AEW World Champion on Wednesday night AEW Grand Slam, defeating fellow Blackpool Fight Club Brian Danielson in the program’s main event. Mox threw everything into “The American Dragon” to try and keep it low, including a pair of Death Riders and a second on the elevated entrance ramp. Is Captain Insanou about to debut in AEW

AEW applied for the Captain Insanu trademark to Paul White from the Adam Sandler comedy “The Waterboy” last year, and White has since indicated that he will wrestle as the character at some point. White has been with AEW since February 2021 and works as a commentator and wrestler, but has not been in the ring since March. “Hell [Captain Insano] I’ll be back,” he told Wight Wrestling Inc in July.
