The Pokemon Company’s Pokemon Home service is used to transfer Pokemon from one game to another and to complete players’ Pokedex rosters among other things, recently updated. The update in question was relatively young in terms of what has changed since we’re not in the midst of any new Pokemon release at the moment, so there’s nothing that can be done in terms of compatibility.
