Houston, Texas — Results from a new online survey of K-12 teachers in Texas, released Thursday, show that most are “seriously considering” leaving the profession this year, a 19% increase from the past two years. Texas teacher shortage: University of Houston hosts school districts, educators’ union to retain workforce!

Houston, Texas (KTRK) – Teachers, politicians and others met at the University of Houston on Tuesday to discuss ways to prevent Texan teachers from leaving the classroom.
