Automakers have reported 25 fires or meltdowns in the United States and Canada due to the problem, but no accidents or injuries. Detroit – Hyundai and Kia are telling owners of some of their larger SUVs to park outdoors and away from buildings after a series of fires that involved the trailer’s wiring harness.
