Pop-Tarts add another new flavor to the lineup, this time offering cookie lovers a new way to enjoy the beloved classic, only in Pop-Tart form. On Tuesday, Kellogg’s announced that this spring Snickerdoodle Pop-Tarts will join the lineup as their newest flavor. The new Snickerdoodle Pop-Tarts joins an ever-expanding list that includes Cookies & Creme, Chocolate Chip Pop-Tarts, and more.
According to the brand, Snickerdoodle Pop-Tarts are a tribute to the popular bakery staple and will satisfy any cookie lover’s sweet tooth. The biscuit and pastry mixture combines a Snickerdoodle flavored filling with a crunchy cinnamon sugar coating to create that familiar, melt-in-your-mouth moment.
“We know our fans love the ‘dessert for breakfast’ moment, so Pop-Tarts continues to offer great flavors that take advantage of this trend with our assortments of pies, muffins and cupcakes already on the shelves,” David Gracie, Senior Brand Manager, Pop-Tarts said. . “This spring, we’ll complement the trifecta cake with our delicious new Snickerdoodle flavor. Plus, who needs a jar of cookies when you’ve got a toaster and a box of Pop-Tarts?”
The new Snickerdoodle Pop-Tarts will hit store shelves this May. It will be available in an 8-digit box at a suggested retail price of $3.19 at retailers nationwide. In recent years, Pop-Tart has launched a number of new flavors, including Eggo Frosted Maple Syrup Pop-Tarts and Pretzel Pop-Tarts in 2020.
