NBC News Digital live bloggers (mostly) agree that “CODA” will win best picture.
The film, an upcoming portrait of a teenage girl torn between her artistic dreams and loyalty to her deaf family, has gained momentum in recent weeks after winning awards from Hollywood actors, writers and producers. But the two of us still hoped for Jane Campion’s “The Power of Dog,” a heartbreaking Western starring Benedict Cumberbatch as a ruthless breeder in 1920s Montana.
