when Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Fast forward to theaters next month, the movie will premiere live on Knuckles the Echidna. One of the main antagonists of the film will be the famous character of Sonic, working alongside Doctor Robotnik. So far, the film’s marketing has relied heavily on meeting the cast and interacting with the character. In a newly released clip, Adam Pally’s character Wade Whipple can be seen discussing ants with Sonic and Tails, revealing that he grew up with a kid named Knuckles! To the hero’s astonishment, Wade revealed that his “own” knuckles could fit his entire fist into his mouth.
The new clip was shared by Pally on Twitter, as well as by Sonic actor Ben Schwartz. Schwartz revealed that he and Bali have been performing together for many years, and joked that Bali has a number of great streaks in Sonic the Hedgehog 2. The new clip can be found in the embed tweet below.

Knuckles was first introduced in the video game in 1994 Sonic the Hedgehog 3Released in Sega Genesis. In that game, the character first appeared as an antagonist allied to Doctor Robotnik. However, Knuckles eventually realizes that he’s on the wrong side, allied with Sonic to defeat the villain. Since then, Knuckles has become one of Sonic’s closest companions. It seems very likely that Knuckles will follow a similar journey in Sonic the Hedgehog 2especially since the character is set to star in his own show series on Paramount+.
Wade Whipple first appeared sonic the hedgehog Film, where he was a deputy mayor working alongside Tom Wachowski at the Green Hills Police Department. Wade proved to be a powerful source of comic relief in the first film; From the clip above, it definitely looks like he’ll have a similar role in the sequel!
