Veeps Livestreaming unveils new round of apps and concerts

Veeps, the streaming platform founded by Benji and Joel Madden of Good Charlotte and acquired by Live Nation, has announced a new series of consumer apps and a list of concerts to go with.

Upcoming live concerts include Kings of Leon from London’s O2 Arena, dance performer Galantis from Colorado’s stunning Red Rocks amphitheater, folk rock duo Indigo Girls, Icelandic blues and rock band Kaleo), singer/songwriter LP, and vocalist The avant-garde Poppy, Guns N ‘Roses’ Slash and his co-conspirators.

New products mean viewers can receive broadcasts directly into their TV without having to cast from the phone, share the screen, or connect with cables; At the same time, the phone and tablet service has been upgraded to the quality of the domestic application.

“We believe the future of concert broadcasting is for fans around the world to have access to every tour, and having live concerts on TVs and phones is a game changer for artists and their fans,” says Joel Madden. “It puts Veeps shows next to your favorite TV show, documentary or blockbuster movie and gives live concerts the same viewability and discoverability as any other type of premium content.”

While the traditional party industry is gradually returning, the ad cites an unspecified survey conducted in late 2021 that stated that four out of five people plan to continue watching live music streaming. More than 90% of people also answered saying that they would buy a live stream of a concert that they wanted to watch in person but were unable to attend.

Veeps apps are available for free download on Apple TV, Roku, iOS, and Android.
