Daniel Caesar to direct Justin Bieber for Peaches at Coachella

Grammy-winning R&B artist Daniel Caesar led the late-night Coachella groups on Friday night by directing Justin Bieber for an understated performance of their debut single, “Peaches.”

Caesar invited Bieber to the red-lighted stage, saying, “Give up to my son, Justin Bieber.” Caesar marveled at the sudden appearance himself, telling the audience, “Justin Bieber is fuckin’, man, he’s crazy, isn’t he?”

Caesar’s performance included several songs from his 2017 album, “Freudian,” including “Get You,” “Best Part,” and “Blessed.” His 2018 single, “Who Hurt You?” was also featured. , along with a new song called “Please Do Not Lean”.

Caesar – who recently signed with Republic Records, according to painting – Run by Jeffrey Azoff, Sean Holiday, and Kara Moser of Full Stop Management.

Prior to joining Republic, the singer was signed with the independent Golden Child record label, which he co-founded in Toronto. Under the label, Caesar managed to win a Grammy for Best R&B Performance with HER for their song “Best Part” and most recently, Billboard Hot 100 #1 for “Peaches”. The two recently performed together with the track’s third peer, Giveon for the 2022 Grammys.

“I felt like becoming a brand CEO and an artist at the same time,” Kaiser told Billboard. “I wanted to separate art and business with a major brand as my partner.”

The singer also confirmed that his long-awaited third studio album is in the pipeline, which comes after his 2019 release of “Case Study 01.”
