Kendrick Lamar announces his new album in May

Kendrick Lamar has been quiet for the past few months, but it looks like the Pulitzer Prize-winning artist will be back with another album next month. According to a mysterious new press release, Lamar will release “Mr. Morale and Adults” on May 13.

In response to a tweet saying, “Kendrick Lamar is officially retired,” the rap giant responded with a link: oklama.com. On the site there is a note that states:

The following statement was released today by Oklama, through his company pgLang at 11:00 AM PT in Los Angeles, California:

Album: Mr. Morale and adults
Release date: 5/13/2022

All factual information for this release will come directly from this source only.”

Lamar’s last full project was 2017’s “DAMN,” which was released just two days before he was set to star in Coachella.

More is coming…
