The Russian Doll season 2 soundtrack with a complete and awesome track list

It always feels great when you scroll away on Netflix one night and find an absolute gem of a series.

For many, this describes their first encounter with a Russian doll. Love at first sight.

Created by Natasha Lyons, Leslie Hedland and Amy Poehler, the American comedy-drama premiered on the streaming service in February 2019 and called us into the life of Nadia Volvokov, a game developer stuck on the same night over and over again.

The Emmy-nominated series was renewed after months, and new episodes were finally dropped on Wednesday, April 20, 2022.

“I’ve always indexed scenes or vignettes”

During a recent conversation with IndiewireNatasha Lyonne opened up about the joys of working on the Russian Doll:

“Working through the challenges of this show is the happiest I’ve ever been in my life. I’ve had this russian doll dream on my mind for decades. Since I’ve been in the film language for six or seven years, I’ve always been cataloging scenes or vignettes, and then sort of I prepare it.”

She added, “I’ve mixed the highs and lows in my own life, but I’ve had enough time to make peace about that. My will to be transparent is really just trying to create something that I hope feels more global.”
