In season 22, episode 11, “A Mystery Package,” Kiser defeated the season’s eventual winner, Phillip Sheppard, in a challenge. Robb saw him as a threat and was meant to get him to vote, which is what happened when Ralph was sent to Redemption Island.
Kiser spent two episodes on the island before he last came during the Duel of Redemption Island in episode 13, “Too Close to Comfort”. Frustrated by the riddle of words, he thus lost his chance of salvation.
