LG has started rolling out stable Android 12 to T-Mobile LG V60

Although LG no longer makes Android smartphones, the company does a decent job of keeping its current models up to date. Over the past few weeks, it has released stable versions of Android 12 for several variants of the LG Velvet. And now, a similar update is rolling out for the LG V60.

The Android 12 update for the LG V60 is said to be rolling out the T-Mobile (LM-V600TM) variant right now. According to a joint photo taken on redditThe update measures around 1.17GN, and it brings all the new features that Google introduced in Android 12. In addition to that, it contains some bug fixes, security updates, and system improvements.

Interestingly, T-Mobile didn’t mention the LG V60 in its Android 12 tracker, so it’s great to see LG rolling out an update to the variant anyway. Unfortunately, that’s not the case with the Verizon variant of the device. Verizon’s LG V60 is still stuck on Android 11, and we don’t have any word on when it will receive a similar update. We’ll make sure to let you know as soon as Verizon starts rolling it out.

It is worth noting that the LG V60 is set to receive three Android OS upgrades. Since the device was released with Android 10 out of the box, you can expect LG to update it to Android 13. However, given the frequency with which LG releases the Android 12 update, you should not expect Android 13 to arrive on your device. The machine before March next year.
