In real life, Natasha’s mother is actually the daughter of a Holocaust survivor, according to Baltimore Jewish Times. “I think I’m kind of, you know — my bloodline of dark survivors. I mean, I come from a real stockpile at Auschwitz. So, you know, Hitler was a big player in my childhood, and he had that kind of survival mindset.” NPR.
