Batman It recently made its way to streaming service HBO Max and fans have definitely given it either a first hour or a rewatch. The movie showcases some of the best cinematography in a superhero movie, but as it turns out, some of the shots weren’t actually captured. HBO Max has released a new video where director Matt Reeves explains how DC Comics used technology. A behind-the-scenes look shows how the film depicted certain scenes such as the big ending where Robert Pattinson’s Batman helps the army get injured citizens out of the flooded city. It also shows how they shot the scene where Batman and Catwoman kiss. You can take a look behind the scenes below!

“Not only is that a clear face of who he is, because he’s clearly a part of it, but it’s something he’s in control of as well,” Reeves said on the podcast. “One of the things that I have found so wonderful working with him is that he works in a way that almost feels like a style actor. However, you can see that he has great access to his emotions, and he puts himself into a situation. But he is also incredibly in control of his instrument, the way That he’s moving in. It’s all very technical, and it’s very intentional. So I can tell him, I need this to be a little hotter, and he can get to that very easily. [And I could say] But I also, because of that cowl and the way the light hits your eye, I want you to lean a little more to your left, or else I won’t see your eye. He can do both of these things simultaneously.”
