Marvel officially introduced Blade’s daughter

Finally, Blade’s daughter is now part of the Marvel canon. Years after Fallon Gray was set to release the comics for the first time, House of Ideas made the switch to a pivotal track and featured a separate character as the Daywalker’s daughter. Over the weekend, Marvel released Free Comic Book Day 2022: Avengers / X-Men #1, a collection of short stories as an introduction to the publisher’s summer event.

One of these short stories also introduces a character named Brielle, who just so happens to take a more family-friendly approach when it comes to vampires. Throughout the short story titled Breed: Blade’s daughterBrielle defends her friend Jayden from a rampaging vampire in the Atlanta-based video game tournament.

Readers then discover that she must go home and meet the curfew, only to learn that her mother’s name is Saffron. Although this has been confirmed, it likely means that Bladean and long-term love interest Safron Caulder DeVille are Brielle’s parents. At one point, Fallon Gray was a character who would be introduced as Blade’s daughter in a series of Tim Seeley and Logan Faerber as part of Marvel’s all-new and different 2015 initiative. This comedian, however, was put on hold and no issue was ever released.

Casting for Marvel’s Blade reboot is still ongoing, and one role appears to be looking for a teenage girl. By bringing two and two together, most believe that Blade’s daughter could already be ready to make her live appearance, due to the growing synergy between the Marvel comics and the movie companies.

Free Comic Book Day 2022: Avengers / X-Men #1 Now in local comic stores while supplies last. Marvel code Replay of the movie did not specify a release date.
