Last night, 9-1-1: Lone Star fans had an exciting season finale.
After the highly charged conclusion, some fans couldn’t help but wonder what the future holds for Owen Strand, aka the main character played by Rob Lowe.
How did 9-1-1: Lone Star series 3 end?

In true Lone Star fashion, there was never a dull moment in the final episode of Series 3 last night. The new episode, A Bright and Cloudless Morning, saw 126 suffer a dramatic explosion in the building.
Judd was among those trapped under the rubble, although a team of first responders including Owen Strand rescued him.

In a lighter moment during the finale, Strand’s son surprised viewers with a late-night marriage proposal to Carlos.
With Series 4 now Confirmed by FoxLast night’s finale leaves viewers with a lot to look forward to.
Owen Strand rumors
Throughout series 3, he has many fans forecast About the future of Rob Lowe’s character, Owen Strand, after the cancer scare.
In last night’s finale, Strand is left to wonder about his future after getting trapped during a rescue mission.
Lowe’s character has a bit of a flair, with circumstances reminiscent of those he encountered during 9/11.
His fellow first responder told Judd that if anything happened to him, Judd would take over Strand’s duties.
Even though Strand made a big appearance at the end, it’s still not 100 percent clear if Rob Lowe will leave 9-1-1: Lone Star.
Talking to ETOnlineLone Star executive producer Tim Minear has been ambiguous about Owen Strand’s future.
When asked if Strand’s time on the show was up, Minnier said, “I don’t think there’s necessarily a set time.”
Minear admitted that a lot of Series 4, in general, is still up in the air at the moment: “I definitely haven’t figured it out, not yet.”
Looks like we’ll have to wait and see if Rob Lowe leaves the 9-1-1 Lone Star.
