Although Yuri technically made his debut in the anime (representing Kensho Ono as the actor behind the character) through a phone call with Yor, the final moments of Episode 7 of the anime revealed his first look at Yuri finding out. yor marriage. She just told her brother about the fact that she was seeing someone (which was a lie at the time), not to mention that she was married just as quickly, so fans already see by his reaction in the post-credits scene that he doesn’t take the news very well.
Episode 7 also introduced Yuri through Yor’s memories of their childhood together, and he apparently worships his older sister. Ironically, he works for the State Department, so he’ll have the strength to investigate Yue’s new husband if he feels it’s necessary. But this is only the first look at this new addition that we’ll see in action even more as the anime continues as it tries to get to the bottom of Yor’s fast new marriage.
