Creator series behind Edens ZeroAnd Hiro Mashima has definitely scared fans with a new change given to the main heroine of the series, Rebecca Bluegardan. As the Weekly Shonen Magazine series approaches its 200th chapter stage, Mashima is still juggling as many works at the same time as the official one. fairy tale story sequel series Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest (Which will get its own anime in the future as well). But even with all that, the creator recently honored the main crew of the titular ship with some fun new improvements for each of the characters.
Previous sketches shared recently have given new looks to Homura Kojitsu, Sister Ivry, Hermit Mio, and more. As seen by fans throughout the series, the improvements are largely built into the series’ DNA as a whole, and it continues with every new sketch Hiro Mashima shares for Edens ZeroFigures. Such is the case with his latest new look at Rebecca, but along with the usually cute show, Mashima has thrown fans into an episode by imagining a darker and terrifying look at the heroine as well. Rebecca will be back with the rest of the Edens Zero crew (I hope it doesn’t look as creepy as it is here) for the upcoming second season of the series now in the works. No specifics for the new season such as potential returning staff, cast, studio and potential release date have been revealed as of this writing, but that also means there’s plenty of time left to catch up.
