Frank Management’s talent agency launches in New Zealand

Mike Minogue, Naomi Ferry and Tim Foley launch Frank Management, a new creative talent agency in New Zealand.

Frank management is open to representing clients in all disciplines, including acting, writing and filmmaking. The company aims to fill the gaps they see across the industry, by offering an alternative to all creatives seeking representation.

Minogue is best known to audiences for the on-screen role of Officer Minogue in Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement’s TV series Wellington Paranormal. He is also a successful writer and producer, having recently produced the 2021 Sundance movie Coming Home In The Dark. He was appointed head of development at the new agency.

“I have been fortunate in my career to be successful in various areas of our industry, and I will draw on my experience in front of the camera and on the development and business side,” Minogue said.

Ferry is a senior agent, having worked with some of the largest agencies in New Zealand before moving on to independent consultancy. “It’s a great time for New Zealand creators. Our relatively small country has always been above its weight, but there are special opportunities here and abroad that Frank can help tap.”

Foley has worked in all aspects of the industry for 20 years. As an actor, he has appeared in more than 500 episodes of New Zealand’s longest-running drama, Shortland Street. He will provide a realistic perspective on his role in strategy and development.

“I am really looking forward to the opportunity to discover new talent, as well as to help bring out the very best in established creatives willing to grow. New Zealand has an abundance of extraordinary talent. Our aim at Frank will be to mentor from a place of experience and represent a working foundation in our industry.”
