Creator series behind Hunter X Hunter Share with fans one of the most promising updates for the big manga’s comeback! While the long wait between new chapters of the series is part of what being a Hunter x Hunter fan is all about, the current hiatus was the longest in the series to date. Togashi’s poor health is well documented, thus fans weren’t expecting to see any updates at all. That’s why the creator who joined Twitter and not only teased a comeback, but teased a bigger-than-expected comeback was a huge deal.
The last time Togashi returned for new chapters of Hunter X Hunter Several years ago, the creator noted that the current plan at the time was to produce ten new chapters for each comeback. But the latest updates from the creator with fans on Twitter surprisingly not only revealed that he has worked on more than ten chapters, but the latest update of the creator is the most promising so far as it reached the seventeenth and eighteenth chapters of the current. Unfortunately, there is still a lot that has not been clarified about it Hunter X HunterCurrently in progress. Shueisha has yet to reveal any official plans about the manga’s comeback as of this writing, and the same goes for Togashi as well. While a progress update appears to reveal that at least 18 completed storyboards are currently up and running, there is still a lot of work to be done before chapters are finally released. But at the creator’s current rate, we can see the manga return well before the year is over.
What’s even more promising is the fact that it looks like we’ll get at least 20 more chapters with the latest update. With the manga currently in the midst of the succession contest arc (which seemed to get more complicated with the release of the last 10 seasons), fans are still highly anticipating the series will actually be out of the Black Whale and properly into the Dark Continent in the future.
