When Marvel Studios released their first Thor movie, no one knew the character would become a pop culture phenomenon. By the time of the third Thor movie, Motorcycle rentalReleased, Chris Hemsworth elevated his character to the point where fans can’t wait to see him on screen. Combined with Mjolnir’s hammer, Thor was a force to be reckoned with. Through the media, the character had the ability to summon the hammer to him, and it would fly until it reached the hands of the heroes. Fans have been trying to create a version of Mjolnir that can come back to you in real life, and while some of them failed, one fan managed to get it right…sort of.
A YouTube page called Hazim Makes created a hard copy of Thor’s Hammer, and actually got it to come back to him. The trick is basically an illusion guided by a thread attached to the user’s wrist, but it’s a pretty cool sight to see. You can check out the video below!
Mjolnir will return in the upcoming Thor movie, Thor: Love and Thunder, but Jane Foster will play it instead of Thor Odinson. Natalie Portman will be returning to the role and getting some super strong promotions so the actress had to look the part. Portman put a lot of muscle into playing Mighty Thor and he looks amazing when dressed up. The actress previously detailed that she went through a fitness process for the role in which she said she was “feeling strong for the first time”.
“It was really fun,” Portman told Vanity Fair about her workouts and training. “I worked with trainer Naomi Pendergast, I think, four months before filming, and obviously after that throughout filming. We did a lot of weight training and a lot of protein shakes – heavy training I didn’t get to do before. Of course, I never aimed to get huge. It was very physical, so there was a lot of light work as well as strong work.” She added later in the same interview, “It definitely helps you gain character, and it definitely changed the way I move. You walk differently; you feel different. I mean, it’s crazy to feel strong for the first time in my life.”

The film is directed by Taika Waititi and stars Chris Hemsworth as Valkyrie, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster/Mighty Thor, Russell Crowe as Zeus, Jamie Alexander as Lady Sword, and Chris Pratt as Peter Quill/Star. Lord, Sean Jean as Craiglin, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Karen Gillan as Nebula and Christian Bale as Gore the Lord’s Butcher. In addition to directing, Waititi will reprise his role as Korg. Thor: Love and Thunder It arrives in cinemas on July 8, 2022!
