Dead by Daylight (DBD) Update 6.0.1 Patch Notes (June 16)

Bug fixes

  • Initially fixed an issue causing a delay while navigating the loading menu.
  • Fixed an initial issue that could cause survivors to crawl faster than normal.

  • Fixed an issue causing the bucket to appear when teleporting to the locker.
  • Fixed an issue where entity heights on forbidden vaults would sometimes disappear when viewed from higher ground.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the survivors to dash forward during the locker pull animation when the teleporter was being moved to the locker with a survivor inside.
  • Fixed an issue where a portion of the bucket would snap through the camera when exiting the locker immediately after teleporting to it.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the Dredge’s little engraving during nightfall to remove killer instinct saturation and loud noise notifications.
  • Fixed an issue causing the bucket to be blinded by blinding items (firecrackers, flashlights, flashlights) while teleporting to the locker.
  • Fixed an issue causing undetectable VFX smoke to appear for a few seconds when Dredge exits the locker during the night.

  • Fixed an issue that could cause survivors to suffer a broken state inside the vault if the killer surprises another survivor using the Head On feature when searching in the vault.
  • Fixed an issue that allowed characters to get to the top of some chests and buckets by coming down from the second floor of the main building in the Coal Tower.
  • Fixed an issue causing an invisible collision blocking the hole on the second floor in Badham Preschool maps.
  • Fixed an issue causing the old Ghost Face hunt music to play again.
  • Fixed an issue where Play With Your Food would not consume a token when hitting a survivor using a Possessed Chain with Cenobite’s Fang add-on.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the description of Interleaving to not be translated in certain languages. (PS5 only)

known problems

  • Some players have been experiencing rubber bands since 5.7.0 – This issue is under investigation.
  • Players on console may experience crashes when starting a tutorial bot match before the game is fully downloaded. To get around this issue, wait until the game is completely downloaded before starting the tutorial bot match.
