GAC announces ‘Great American Christmas in July’ event

The GAC family adds some holiday cheer to summer.

On Tuesday, the network announced that Jane Lilly, who starred in last holiday season “Royally Wrapped for Christmas,” will host the network’s first programming event, “Great American Christmas in July.”

Starting Saturday, July 2, GAC Media will be showing Christmas movies 24/7, all through the 4th of July weekend. In addition to the reruns of GAC Family’s original Christmas movies, the event will include a preview of all-new holiday movies planned for Great American Christmas in 2022.

“Great American Christmas in July” will include shows “Christmas Time is Here,” “The Great Christmas Switch,” “A Christmas Star,” “Jingle Bell Princess,” “A Kindhearted Christmas,” and “A Christmas Miracle for Daisy,” Royally Wrapped for Christmas, Joy for Christmas, A Lot Like Christmas, Angel Falls Christmas, and Much Ado About Christmas. The films ‘Debbie McCumber’s Miracle’, ‘Debbie McCumber’s Call Miracle’, ‘Cinderella’s Birthday’ and ‘A Match Made for Christmas’ will also be shown.

The network previously announced that the holiday programming franchise, “Great American Christmas,” will return with a new slate of original holiday movies starting October 28.

GAC Media is just one of many holiday festivities during sunrise that Crown Media Family Networks recently announced a “Christmas in July,” starting with Hallmark Movies & Mysteries on Friday, June 24 and running through Thursday, June 30.

The Hallmark Channel will kick off its content on July 1 with a daily movie marathon from 10am to midnight for the entire month of July. This will include three original films, “My Grown-Up Christmas List” on July 9; “Campfire Christmas” on July 16; and “Christmas in Toyland” on July 23.
