Take a trip to the Wild Wild West and watch Yellowstone online to watch one of the most popular shows on cable TV.
The drama, starring Kevin Costner as a ranch patriarch, is a huge hit for Paramount Network. After the massive ratings for the fourth season finale, Yellowstone’s fifth season is already in the works.
The success of the show’s ratings led to a new show, the 1883 premiere that tells the original story of the Dutton family. It’s now streaming on Paramount Plus. Three other subsidiary works – 6666, 1932 and 1883: The Story of Bas Reeves – are in preparation.
In Yellowstone, Costner plays John Dutton, the head of his family, who has owned Dutton’s farm for six generations. The farm is located near Yellowstone National Park and Native American Reserves.
He oversees the farm along with his son, Casey Dutton (Lucas Grimes), a former US Marine. Case is married to a Native American woman, Monica (Kelsey Aspel Chow), and they have a young son named Tate. John’s adopted son, Jamie (Wes Bentley) is an ambitious lawyer and politician.
Then there’s John’s daughter, Beth Dutton (Kelly Riley), a financier who has struggled with substance abuse problems. She married the farm foreman, Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser).
The Duttons are constantly fighting to maintain control of the farm. They deal with thorny political intrigue, fight greedy land developers and manage tensions with local indigenous tribes. Season 4 ends with Jon’s quest for governor, and Beth gathers blackmail materials on Jimmy and Casey in the face of an uncertain future.
Fans can get behind-the-scenes details and exciting rumors from Yellowstone’s official podcast, which brings in cast and crew members to talk about the show.
