While there are a variety of important aspects to being a professional wrestler, a star’s entry music is definitely an element that can’t be ignored and if done well it can have a huge impact on a star and how soon the audience reacts to it. They hit the entrance ramp. AEW has quite a few examples of stellar input themes, and one of the most immediately recognizable is Orange Cassidy’s, which was The Pixies’ Where Is My Mind? Since his debut in AEW. Now he will get a new topic according to a report from Choose a fightalthough in this case it’s a new old theme, as AEW secured the old entry theme rights for Cassidy Jane by Jefferson Starship.
Cassidy used Jane as his entry theme before he came to AEW, but AEW President Tony Khan has said in previous interviews that attempts to secure the song were never successful. In a previous interview, he said he had been trying to get the song for a year and a half and hadn’t heard back from the Jefferson Starship, and so they decided to use Where Is My Mind.
This worked out well, but now that AEW has reportedly licensed the song, and Cassidy has already teased her, posting on Twitter that he’s “getting something new.” The song, which appeared on Wet Hot American Summer, is likely to debut on Forbidden Door, where Cassidy has a match against Will Ospreay at the United States IWGP Championship.
