THis parents or guardians small kid which was discovered following a mass shooting at the Fourth of July parade in Highland Park Earlier today they are being searched by the authorities in Chicago suburbs.
According to a tweet from Jackie Kostick from CBS Chicago, the child was discovered alone and remained “safe but with strangers”. It remains unclear if the boy was with his parents and/or grandparents during the show.
After the shooter started shooting, he was caught by a local chef.
The boy’s photo spread on social media with the name Dane Roderwho initially picked up the baby and posted it online, said someone on the show handed the boy over to her and she was looking after him until the parents were found.
The boy could not tell Ruder his name, and Ruder claimed that he might have been too young to know his parents’ names.

a Sun Times The reporter captured a video of the scene after the shooting, showing a band on a buoy playing while onlookers ran screaming. In a photo shared on social media, downtown Highland Park appears to have puddles of blood near the chairs that have been turned upside down.
Jenna Troani Her son was waiting in line to enter the parade track with his daycare class when she heard a loud noise that she initially thought was fireworks until she heard a scream around the shooter.
Her five-year-old son was riding a bike with red and blue coil-over stripes. He and the other children in the group were waving miniature American flags.
According to the city’s website, a review of kids and pets bikes was one of the events.
Trawani claimed that she pushed her son’s bike while she was running through the neighborhood in order to get back to their car.
A siren can be heard nearby as some children run to the side of the road in a video that Troani took on her phone. The children seem dumbfounded by the loud noises.
