The fourth episode of Mrs. Marvel took us to Karachi, where Kamala Khan found some new friends. Waleed and Karim, members of Red Dagger, help Kamala find out her origin. However, things soon turned dark when Najma and her allies fled the United States Department of Damage Control (USDC). Then the group arrives in Pakistan and attacks the Red Dagger and Kamala. Thanks to Karim’s efforts, Kamala managed to escape her death at the hands of a star. However, Walid was not so lucky.
Before sacrificing his life to save Kamala and Karim, Walid tells Mrs. Marvel about the light. This new and mysterious world is full of light energy, but it is separated from our world by a veil of light. If for any reason this veil comes down, the other dimension will consume our world. The Kamala bracelet can draw energy from a dimension of light, but it can also be used to lower a veil. Now, Kamala must use the powers of the bracelet to protect her world and at the same time fight against powerful enemies.
The fifth episode of Mrs. Marvel will be the penultimate episode of the series, so it’s safe to assume that things are going to get tougher for the teenage superhero. Kamala spent most of her time escaping from Najma, but she has to use her power to confront the enemy to put an end to everything. Well, let’s hope we see some of that in the next episode.
