The new Xbox Game Pass is one of its worst games so far

Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate contain four new games among the different libraries available across consoles and PCs. Unfortunately, none of the four games are noteworthy, and one might, in fact, be one of the worst additions to date. Of course, video game reviews are subjective, but platforms like Metacritic bring the closest thing we have to an objective opinion about video games by putting together a critical review and user review. To that end, one of the four games mentioned above currently has a Metacritic score of 57 to 59, depending on the platform, making it one of the lowest rated games ever added to the subscription service. Why was it added then? Well, it fills a very specific niche.

The game in question is Match point: Tennis Championship From Torus Games. Like many tennis games that came before it, it’s not very good, but when it comes to tennis games, tennis lovers can’t be picky, as there aren’t many options. Perhaps this is the reason for adding it. However, even tennis fans may not get much mileage out of the game if the Metacritic scores are a relevant reference point.

Below, you can read more about the game and check out a trailer for the game, along with the other three newly added games:

Matchpoint: Tennis Championships (console, cloud, and PC): “Matchpoint – Tennis Championships is a modern tennis game, featuring a realistic on-court experience backed by a deep career mode and a unique competition system.
