When it comes to some of the latest and Disney+’s greatest showsI always wonder – what’s the first thing that comes to your mind? For me, it’s always been shows like The Mandalorian (that Getting a third season in 2023) or maybe in undervalued High School Musical: The Musical: Series. But I will open your eyes to someone who has not been talked about much – Paymax!
This series, which is part of Disney animated movie underrated, Big Hero 6And the Baymax follows one of the main protagonists in this movie, a personal healthcare companion who makes it his mission to get around San Fransokyo and help those in need. During the six episodes that the series offers on the platform, you will learn many valuable life lessons in moments that both children and adults will love. Here are my personal favourites.
Give yourself permission to take a break

And from the snaps her cat took when she tried to spy on Baymax, everyone simply told her to get better soon.
This lesson is something I think all adults should take seriously, that is Good If we want to give ourselves a break. We are allowed those moments in life where we don’t need to work ourselves to the core, because if we don’t have those breaks, we’ll end up overworked. That is exactly what this lesson was – and something I took very seriously.
It’s never too late to live a little
This one’s probably the hardest – I don’t know, maybe that’s my love for some of the Best Romantic Comedy There or I like the idea of eternal love, but the second episode of Paymax! It follows the robot as it tries to help Kiko, an elderly woman tasked with swimming to relieve hip pain.
But, it was revealed that although she is not afraid of water, looking at the old community pool that was there brought back memories of her long lost husband, how he always wanted her to jump in but she never did, and she regrets it. Baymax fairly and squarely tells her it’s never too late to “live a little,” the same words her husband used to say to her.
I just love it. It’s the perfect embodiment of someone who says “You’re never too old to chase your dreams or face your fears,” and that’s exactly what Baymax did for Kiko, leading her into the water so she could learn to live a little. She is so sweet dang.
Puberty is normal and nothing to be ashamed of (especially for girls)
I absolutely lovable This episode of Baymax!, Because this is the first time I’ve seen a children’s show openly discussing menstruation in such a simple matter. Now, keep in mind that I’m twenty-three years old, so it’s been a while since I’ve seen several children’s shows, but all I know is that when I was younger, I didn’t have anything like that.
In this episode, Baymax is at school and overhears a little girl getting scared in the bathroom, revealing that she just had her first period and is afraid that people are starting to treat her differently now, and that she wants to hide away. . Baymax reassures her that although she may be getting older and her body may change, that doesn’t change who she is, that puberty is normal and she’s not ashamed of it.
Dude, if you had this episode as a kid, let me tell you – the amount of meltdowns and tears I could have prevented would have been amazing. While I really appreciate it Great adulthood movies I’ve talked about puberty and menstruation, this is the first time I’ve really seen a child show that delves into this issue and I seriously I loved how it was handled, and it showed that you don’t have to be afraid of change. Traditions can change, and you can too

In this episode of Baymax!, The robot helps Mbita, a gay food truck owner who suddenly develops an allergic reaction to fish, and has to flip his whole business in order to, you know, does not die. But Baymax assures him that traditions change, and for Mbita’s health, he knew there would be a way to honor his family’s cooking while also trying new things so he wouldn’t have any allergic reactions. It eventually worked, testing all these new flavors and creating a new menu with the help of Baymax.
Also, can we talk about that wonderful moment at the end where he gained the confidence he lacked to ask Yukio because this has got to be the best inclusion moment I’ve ever seen and I want to see a whole short story about those two things. Still yelling about this. Baymax raised his heart rate was absolutely adorable.
You can find friends anywhere
The last lesson I really took from this series was that friends really can be found everywhere. In the last episode of Paymax!, all the people Baymax helped get together to track him down when the Baymax battery runs out and shuts down. They are able to save him in the end, but it was a really special moment for me
All those people Baymax helped were strangers, but they still eventually came together to find a way to save him from destruction, using their combined skills to do so, which is something I really liked. She also adored that Kiko and the cat that Baymax helped in episode five, Yachi, ended up getting close, giving them the companionship the two of them longed for. It was so sweet, and again, I want a short story after those two, Disney. do it!
Paymax! It was really a hidden feature (Opens in a new tab) subordinate 2022 TV premiere schedule I will definitely watch again if a second season comes out. It was cute and funny and I had some amazing moments that I honestly relate to and if you are looking for the next best series to show your kids please try this moment out. you will not regret it.
