What really helps chainsaw man Be unique, aside from the protagonist who has several chainsaws exploding from inside his body, the fact that Tatsuki Fujimoto is able to combine a gory story with some really emotional characters and story beats. Denji isn’t what you’d expect for a shonen hero in general, not to mention he’s been known to work his way through countless demons, but his character is definitely an off-the-base character that draws readers into him.
