Nolan Neal, contestant of The Voice, dies at 41

Nolan Neal, the singer who competed on NBC’s The Voice and America’s Got Talent, has passed away. He was 41 years old. The singer’s cousin, Dylan Sales, confirmed Neil’s death with him diverse. TMZ first mentioned Neil’s death. An official cause of death was not revealed. Neil has spoken publicly in the past about his history of using drugs and going to rehab to stay clean.

Nolan appeared on the fifteenth season of “America’s Got Talent,” auditioning for a song called “Lost” that he said was an original that he wrote after it came clean. Nolan reached the quarterfinals of the NBC contest series and performed another original song, “Send Me a Butterfly.”

As a contestant on Season 10 of “The Voice,” Nolan was selected to join Adam Levine’s cast and reached the playoffs before being eliminated. All four judges turned their chairs to Neil during his audition, singing a cover of Elton John’s Tiny Dancer.
