After sharing the renders of the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro series earlier this month, popular leaker Evan Blass is back again with new renders of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4. Look at Samsung’s next-generation foldable devices In all colours.
The following is displayed (via 91 mobilesThe Galaxy Z Fold 4 is offered in three colors – Phantom Black, Beige, and Gray – Green. Although the renders focus on the foldable home screen, a closer look confirms that Samsung’s next foldable flagship will have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a voice key on the right edge. On the opposite edge, you will discover the SIM card slot.
If you zoom in on the top edge of the right half of the screen, you will also detect two sensors in the screen. Since the Galaxy Z Fold 3 includes an in-screen selfie shooter, we doubt that one of these sensors will be used for the same purpose. But we don’t have any information about the other sensor at the moment.
Alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 4, we’re also taking a look at the Galaxy Z Flip 4 in four colors – grey, purple, gold and light blue. As with the Galaxy Z Fold 4, those of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 focus on the foldable internal display. But they reveal some other details about the device.
As you can see in the attached image, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 appears to have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a volume key on the right edge. The device features a USB Type-C port on the bottom edge, sandwiched between the speaker grille and two holes (most likely for the microphone). You can also select the selfie snapper located inside a punch-hole at the top of the inner screen and the earpiece sculpted into the bezel surrounding the screen.
For now, Blass has not shared other renders of Samsung’s upcoming foldable devices. But the leaker says they will be releasing demos showing the hardware from different angles and in a special edition Thom Browne and Bespoke colorways in the days leading up to launch. Speaking of which, a recently leaked invitation to Samsung’s upcoming launch event suggests that Samsung may unveil the new foldable devices on August 10.
