YouTube unveils ‘Foundry Class’ for new artists for 2022

YouTube has announced the 2022 Foundry Class, welcoming 30 new artists to its Global Artist Development Program. The 2022 class is Foundry’s largest to date, featuring independent talent spanning genres and continents.

Foundry in 2015, Foundry is a YouTube incubator for indie music, supporting independent artists at all stages of their careers through annual artist development classes and ongoing release support campaigns. YouTube provides partner strategy support, marketing promotion, and seed development funding that can be used to experiment with new music to diversify video creation formats.

To date, Foundry programs have supported 250 independent artists, including alumni Arlo ParksAnd the BibadoobiAnd the DaveAnd the Dua LipaAnd the ClairoAnd the ENNYAnd the Eladio CarrionAnd the girl in redAnd the jonahAnd the Japanese breakfastAnd the Kenny BatesAnd the Nathaniel KanoAnd the Omar ApolloAnd the RimaAnd the Rina SwayamaAnd the RosalaAnd the sabaAnd the snail mailAnd the timesAnd the Tinel Arts And many talented musicians.
