Mindy Kaling’s “Never Have I Ever” is set to premiere its third season on Friday, August 12, on Netflix.
The upcoming comedy series will follow Devi Vishwakumar (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) and her ongoing struggles as she navigates high school. This season, Devi and Paxton (Darren Barnet) are officially cast, but the pair are expected to face some serious ups and downs as Davey’s potential suitor gets involved—along with Devi’s own concerns about their romance.
Season 3 of “Never Have I Ever” will also introduce two new characters: Parker, played by Deacon Phillippe, and Addison, played by Terry Hu.
Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher produce this series, and Fisher also serves as co-creator, show director, and writer. “Never Have I Ever” was produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, and executive produced by 3 Arts Entertainment’s Howard Klein and David Miner. The mysterious new black comedy series “Bad Sisters” has released its latest Apple TV+ trailer. From creator and star Sharon Horgan, the 10-episode series will debut globally with the first two episodes on Friday, August 19, followed by one new episode per week every Friday through October 14. Sisters when their sister’s brother is found dead. Now, with insurance companies focusing his life on the sisters in an investigation to prove malicious intent, the sisters must band together to save themselves. Along with Horgan, the cast is led by Anne-Marie Duff, Eva Berthestle, Sarah Greene, and Eve Hewson as the Garvey sisters. Claes Pang, Brian Gleeson, Daryl McCormack, Asad Concierge and newcomer Sais Quinn complete the ensemble. The series will mark Horgan’s first project to debut from his first-look deal with Apple TV+ and is produced by Merman productions. HBO Max has released the drama-filled trailer for the second season of its unscripted series, “Sweet Life: Los Angeles.” The first four episodes will be released on August 4 on HBO Max, with three episodes releasing each week thereafter, ending on August 18. Showtime’s exciting new drama “Let The Right One In” has scheduled its premiere on October 7 for Showtime digital subscribers, and premiere on the air on October 9. The 10-episode series stars Demián Bichir, Anika Noni Rose, Grace Gummer, Madison Taylor Bays, Kevin Carroll, Ian Foreman, Jacob Buster and Nick Stahl. The series revolves around a father and daughter, who turned into a vampire ten years ago, doing their best to provide for her under unusual circumstances. The show comes from Tomorrow Studios, the company behind TNT’s “Snowpiercer” series, and is produced by playwright, writer, and producer Andrew Hinderaker, who also serves as a presenter. Amazon Prime Video has released the official trailer for the first season of “Cosmic Love,” a new reality series where individuals try to find the perfect pair by matching stars. The series will air all 10 episodes on Prime Video on Friday, August 12. In the new show, four individuals attempt to find their wives, each representing one of the four elements in astrology: air, fire, water, and earth. “The Four of Them,” a global comedy buzz with over 88 million views and 1.1 million subscribers on WebToon, comes as a three-part series on YouTube’s Brat TV channel. The announcement comes after Brat TV and WebToon, the world’s largest digital comics platform, announced a creative partnership. The series centers on teen Johnny Grillo, played by social media star Jack Wright, and his group of friends as they navigate the trials, tribulations, and fun of high school. The series also stars Savannah Moss, Gianna Marie, Leilani Green, Emily Brolin and Blake Alexander. The Four Of Them will premiere in August 2022 on YouTube’s Brat TV channel, in three weekly installments.

Streaming company Fate: The Winx Saga has announced that Season Two will premiere worldwide on Netflix on September 16 and will include seven episodes. The series follows the coming-of-age journey of five fairies who attend Alfia, a magical otherworldly boarding school where they must learn to master their powers while navigating love, rivalries, and monsters. The new season will feature Earth Fairy Flora, played by Paulina Chavez, as well as Miranda Richardson as hard-line manager Rosalind. Daniel Bates will also join Professor Harvey. Returning cast members include Abigail Quinn, Hannah van der Westhausen, Precious Mustafa, Elliot Salt, and Elisha Applebaum. Paramount Pictures’ Upcoming original movie, “On The Come Up,” will premiere on Paramount Pictures+ on September 23 in the United States, Canada and Italy. The film, based on Angie Thomas’ novel “The Hate U Give,” will be shown later in the year in other international territories. “On The Come Up” is the directorial debut for Emmy-nominated artist Sana Lathan, and stars newcomer Jamila C Gray as Brie, a 16-year-old rapper trying to break into the rap scene in order to do the right thing. From the legacy of her father, a local hip-hop legend whose career was interrupted by gang violence. The film stars Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Lil Yachty, Mike Epps, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Justin Martin, Titus Makin, Michael Cooper Jr. and GaTa, Sanaa Lathan, and Cliff “Method Man” Smith. “On the Come Up” will premiere at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival.
