It appears that Beller was on her way to a massive defeat, but Lynch rushed to her support at the last moment and forced Bayley and her minions away.
The move cemented the Irish wrestler’s transformation from heel to darling face, and according to Keeler Valley PWTorchVIP.com (Across WrestlingNews.co), this was allegedly not something that was initially planned for the event. Keeler shared what he heard about the situation:
I can now confirm that Becky wouldn’t convert if Vince McMahon was still in control. That was Paul Levesque’s call. I just got confirmation on that. She would have been a heel as we’re talking now if McMahon were still running things. So, there’s a big change early there.

With Bayley back in the organization as an item, the returning star won’t have to compete with “Big Time Becks” as the brand’s top female heels. Additionally, Becky’s alignment as an ally to Bianca Belair parallels the hero’s odds against Bailey’s new faction, although they might need another woman to lend a helping hand to get a stable of the same size. Perhaps this will finally provide an opportunity for Alexa Bliss to return to a main story, like Bliss hasn’t been a big factor in the shows since her comeback.
Assuming this reported information is recent, flipping Becky Lynch from heel to adorable face would be a pretty big change for Triple H to make it off the bat. If true, it could also be a sign that fans can expect some other major creative changes and shifts in direction going forward.
