Amazon Prime Video is revitalizing its Emmy Phase 2 plans, holding “FYC Fest” this weekend from Friday, August 12 through Sunday, August 14 to promote 30 Emmy Award nominations.
The weekend event will take place in three different Los Angeles area locations, including Sherman Oaks, Santa Monica and West Hollywood. The outdoor activities will be inspired by Emmy Award-nominated Prime Video titles, including “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” “Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrls,” “Lucy and Desi,” and “The Boys Presents: Diabolical.”
Among the attractions will be mini golf, themed some of the Prime Video shows; A game inspired by the game “The Boys Presents: Diabolical”; Giant art installation inspired by the show; And design your own FYC Fest bags with custom embroidered icons from Prime Video Emmy nominated shows.
The festival will also include food trucks with food and drink themed Prime Video Emmy-nominated shows; Take pictures and live DJ.
Prime Video’s Emmy names include 12 songs for “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” six for “Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls,” six for “Lucy and Desi,” two for “Savage X Fenty Show Vol. 3,” and single nominations for the Seventh Academy Awards. Fifty for Country Music, “A Very British Scandal” and “Goliath” and “The Boys Present: Diabolikal”.

“FYC Fest” is a follow-up to Amazon’s “The Prime Experience” held in May in Beverly Hills, at a property turned multi-room experience to promote its Emmy competitors.
