The $1,799 smartphone is a tough sell in today’s economy. However, that’s exactly what Samsung is asking consumers for its new Galaxy Z Fold 4. Sure, it has new cameras, slimmer bezels, and a stronger internal display, but that price is still hard to swallow.
Even BTS picked the (slightly) cheaper Galaxy Z Flip 4 during Samsung’s keynote.
But it doesn’t have to be the case because there are plenty of Galaxy Z Fold 4 pre-orders that can cut up to 50% off Samsung’s new foldable discount. To be fair, cell phone deals can be very tricky because carriers require you to jump through a lot of loops before you’ll qualify for their deals. This is what makes the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 my favourite.
They’re offering up to $1000 credit with any Galaxy phone exchange (Opens in a new tab) in any case. Focus on “up to” because you’ll need the latest Galaxy to get the full amount. However, Samsung guarantees that you’ll get at least $300 in exchange for your Galaxy in any condition, which is great if you have a broken Galaxy device you’ve been trying to unlock.
You also get a free storage upgrade (512GB at 256GB) and a free standing cap with the S Pen ($89 value).
while, AT&T also offers a discount of up to $1,000 (Opens in a new tab), but you will need to buy your phone via a 36-month installment plan, which basically connects you to your carrier. (This is fine if you are already an AT&T member or are considering a switch.)
Amazon usually offers a free gift card or a huge price reduction on Samsung phones, but as of this writing Galaxy Z Fold 4 offered at list price (Opens in a new tab). (I recommend checking out their product page later this week because they’re bound to offer some discounts in the coming days.)
