Britney Spears’ lawyer accuses Kevin Federline of cyberbullying

Britney Spears’ lawyer comes to her defense in the wake of her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, who suddenly spoke publicly about Spears and their two sons.

Federline, a former backup dancer who was married to Spears from 2004 until 2007, gave an interview to ITV this week and said the two former couple’s two sons had made the decision not to see their mother. On Wednesday, Federline posted old videos on his Instagram account in which Spears appears to be arguing with her young sons, who were aged 11 and 12. In response to the videos, social media users responded with confusion, saying that Spears appeared to be scolding her children. , as any parent would do.

Spears – who terminated her guardianship last November, after more than 13 years – said it was “sad” that Federline publicly discussed her relationship with her two sons.

Now, Spears’ attorney, Matthew Rosengart, says Federline violated his client’s privacy, creating potential legal issues for himself. Rosengart says he is working with Instagram to ensure Federline adheres to its rules.

“Britney Spears is an incredibly talented and hardworking icon who is loved and respected by millions around the world. Rosengart said in a statement obtained diverse.

“Britney has wholeheartedly supported her children and loves them very much,” the statement continues. “Whether he realizes it or not, Mr. Federline has not only violated the privacy and dignity of the mother of his children, but has also undermined his children, whose privacy he must protect. Putting aside his interview on ITV, Mr. Federline’s ill-advised decision to publish an old video of his children reaching 11 and 12 years old he was tough, tough. He was hateful.”

“In addition to insulting himself and violating societal norms, he has now also created numerous legal cases for himself, including, but not limited to, involvement in cyber-harassment and cyberbullying laws, among others,” Rosengart wrote.

“It has been an honor to work with Britney, to suspend her father’s work as guardian, help her obtain her freedom and dignity, and help protect her from the kind of bullying she has experienced in the past — and we will not tolerate bullying in any area,” says the Hollywood attorney and former federal prosecutor.

“We are working with Instagram to ensure that Mr Federline adheres to its rules and we are exploring all appropriate avenues of relief against him,” Rosengart says. “In the meantime, as Britney said touchingly, everything that happens between her and her children must remain a secret. We urge Mr. Federline to act with decency and decency and to stop talking publicly about private matters, which are of no use to anyone.”

As of Thursday morning, Federline’s videos have been deleted. Federline originally posted the videos on Wednesday night, claiming he did so to defend his teenage sons.
